Carmen FifamèToudonouis the editor at the Secretariat of the African Petroleum Producers Organization (APPO) in Brazzaville since January 2024.
Born on July 22, 1981, she holds a PhD from the University of Abomey-Calavi, defended on March 8, 2023 on the theme "Historical and descriptive approach to ranks in the Beninese army". She also holds a diploma of advanced studies in sociolinguistics, with a communication option, obtained in 2015 at the multidisciplinary doctoral school Spaces, Cultures and Development (University of Abomey Calavi). Three years earlier, in 2012, she defended a Master of Art in Communication with a major in Journalism and Media at Madison International Research Learning Institute. In 2007, she defended a bachelor's degree in journalism at the Ecole Supérieure Internationaled'Enseignement Technique of Cotonou. She also holds a Higher Technician in Business Management degree from the Institute for Development Education in Porto-Novo, and has previously completed scientific studies, culminating in 1999 in a Baccalaureate Series C.
Previously Administrator of Parliamentary Services, serving at the National Assembly of Benin, she has held many positions of responsibility: Deputy Director of the Parliamentary Institute of Benin, Gender Focal Point of the National Assembly, and as such, Head of the Technical Secretariat of the Gender Focal Cell of the National Assembly, Head of the Project for the Creation of the Parliamentary Television, Head of the Television Department and Head of the Communication Department.
A former journalist on the national radio, presenter of television and talk news as well as programs, still at the ORTB, she directed, among other things, the regional branch of the ORTB in Porto-Novo. She also worked as an editor at the daily newspaper "Le Matinal".
Carmen Fifamè TOUDONOU is the author of eight scientific articles and eleven published books in different literary genres. She has coordinated important collective works, including two collective collections of women of the world. She has participated in numerous scientific conferences. Outside of literature, she is passionate about cinema (she has directed a short film and written two others).
Benin focal point of the West African Action Network against Small Arms, she is a member of the "Communication, Art and Culture" standing commission of the National Academy of Sciences, Arts and Letters of Benin, Carmen FifamèToudonou directs the Vénusd'Ébène publishing house in Cotonou. Since 2016, she has been organizing a contest to encourage young girls to read and write in Africa, called Miss Literature. She runs the blog "lebloglitterairedecarmen" on WordPress, and she has given courses in theoretical and practical knowledge of television and literature in universities in Benin. Kunle Kalejaye is a trained broadcast journalist whose early educational background in Nigeria saw him undertake apprenticeship in three major television stations including the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, African Independent Television, AIT and Minaj Broadcasting International, MBI. On completing his university education, he veered into print journalism working with Vanguard Newspapers in 2011 as energy reporter. He covered the energy industry both locally and internationally in the US. Kunle has covered events such as the Nigeria Oil and Gas, NOG in both Lagos and Abuja, NAPE in Lagos, Offshore Technology Conference, OTC in Houston Texas, and the LPG conference in Miami US. During his university days, he participated in essay competitions organised by Nigeria Institution of Public Relations, NIPR and he clinched the first price in 2007. After six years of practicing print journalism, he switched to Public Relations in 2017 with LADOL Free Zone as Public Relations and Marketing Officer. While in the corporate sector, he continued as a contributing writer for SweetCrude Reports till date. He meticulously executed each tasks such as media engagement, communication crisis, social media content creation and design, media campaign, external communication, internal communication. Kunle Kalejaye grew through the ranks as a public relations professional from Public Relations and Marketing Officer to Senior Public Relations and Marketing Officer to Acting Manager Public Relations and Marketing. Michael Eboh is currently an editor, in charge of Energy Finance at Sweetcrude Nigeria, as well as a Research Assistant at Mary Immaculate College, University of Limerick, Limerick, Ireland. He has a rich career in Journalism, starting in 2000, across renowned newspapers, such as Daily Times, Post Express Newspapers and Vanguard Newspaper, covering business, economy, finance and energy sectors. He is also a major editorial contributor to numerous energy publications, among which is Orient Energy and Majorwaves Energy. Michael has several awards to his credit for outstanding investigative and well-researched features, news stories and articles. He served severally as Energy Editor and Bureau Chief (acting) at Vanguard and Head, Energy at Vanguard Newspaper. Michael is a graduate of Mass Communication, has a Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Management, a Master of Arts degree in Media Studies from the prestigious Mary Immaculate College, University of Limerick, Limerick, Ireland and a Master of Science degree in Digital Media and Business Analytics, from the South East Technological University (SETU), Carlow, Ireland. He has attended several trainings, seminar, conferences and short courses both within and outside the country. He is also an associate member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered).
