Dr. Michael Honren Owhoko is the Editor/Publisher of Media Issues, an online newspaper based in Lagos. He was a former Communications Representative/Advisor for Addax Petroleum Development Nigeria Limited, and also a former Public Relations Manager and Spokesman for Gaslink Nigeria Limited and Owel-Linkso Group.
He was born sixty years ago and hails from Emadadja, in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria.
He graduated from the University of Ilorin with a B.Sc Degree in Political Science in 1987. He further obtained an M.Sc Degree in Political Science and a PGD in Mass Communication from the University of Lagos. The journal served as reference materials for the oil and gas industry. He also served on a three-man electoral committee which conducted election into the Association’s Council.
Besides, he was appointed into various committees in the oil and gas industry, including committee for the then West Africa Offshore Conference. He also was appointed into the National Committee of the Nigeria Oil and Gas Industry Games (NOGIG) in 2008where he was elected 2nd Vice Chairman in 2010 to plan, organize and drive the Games with the international, indigenous and servicing oil companies as participants.
He started his working career with The Metropolitan, a weekly newspaper before moving to Nationwide Merchant Bank in 1991. He later joined the Financial Telegraph and Diet newspapers where he reported Energy, before joining the Daily Times of Nigeria as the Energy Editor of the Business Times. Mr. Yakubu Itopa Lawal is a graduate of BSc.(Hon) Economics from the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria in 1988 and holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Lagos state University Ojo Lagos. His interest in Journalism pushed him into the Pen profession after the mandatory National Youth Service in 1989. He started his career as a journalist at the Punch Newspaper Limited with focus on Oil, Gas, Power and Steel sub sectors of the economy as his primary beat/coverage. Udeme Akpan is an energy journalist, communications scholar and media expert with about 30 years of cognate experience. Adigun Olayinka Tajudeen graduated from University of Lagos in 1984 and started his journalism career in 1988 with The Republic Newspapers, Lagos as Transport Reporter. He was moved to the Energy Sector and eventually became Energy Editor of the newspapers in February 1991, He joined the Financial Guardian as Correspondent in July 1991 covering, at various times, the Transport, Finance and the Energy sectors. He was made an Honorary Member of the Presidential Task Force on Eleme Petrochemical Complex Project in May 1993 for his impactful reports on the project. Adigun became the first Energy Editor of The Guardian Newspapers in July 1997. In 1999, Adigun won the best Energy Reporter Award in Nigeria – Diamond Awards for Media

Mrs. Chika Amanze Nwachuku is a Nigerian journalist with over 34 years experience.

He has over two decades of practice experience in Reputation Management, specifically in the Oil and Gas, Power, and Mining Sectors, where he has designed, participated in, and delivered complex communication campaigns. He launched the publicity campaign that ushered in the establishment of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) in 2010 and coordinated major above-the-line and below-the-line communication programmes and initiatives thatpositively shaped the reputation of the NCDMB in the last 14 years. Some notable communication projects he spearheaded include the inauguration of the NCDMB Governing Council by President Goodluck Jonathan in 2010,the commissioning of the Nigerian Content Tower by President Muhammadu Buhari in 2020, the launch of the Nigerian Content Intervention Fund in 2017, and many others.
